There is a big river in China called “Ryu-mon”. Strong koi
(carp) swim up
this river and are transformed into ryu (dragon)
which are
able togrant many kinds of wishes.
This is called “to-ryu-mon”and
represent difficult challenges in our lives.
The black carp
stands
for the father,the red for the mother,
and the blue for the
children.
The koi-nobori family happily swimming together
represents everyone’s wish for the family.
